There's a similar thread in another area about this but it seems to have died off so I thought I'd start an Envy specific one.

I've seen references to the "2010" Intel processors having an integrated graphics function. Does this include mobile processors and does the Envy chipset support piping graphics via this integrated processor? (ie a bios change could enable it)

The answer is no. The i5' IGP is never used on the Envy 15. There is no way to do switchable graphics as the Intel PM55 Chipset used in the Envy doesn't have the ability to and there is no BIOS function that can be used to force switch graphics either. However, the i5's used in the Envy do have the IGP on the CPU, but sadly, they can never be used or activated due to the Chipset and BIOS Configs the Envy uses.
