The main difference is the video card. If you want to play games, get the dv5t. If you din't and prefer a smaller size, then get the dv4t.
-
Also, read the reviews for both laptops; the dv5t tends to run hot when idling, and with its 9600M GT, is reported to run very hot when under stress.
-
It just depends if u into gaming or not, and yea the dv5t does run hot but the Zalman NC2000 cooler takes care of the heat.
-
^ Whatever happened to laptops being able to handle cooling on their own? Having to buy a 3rd party cooling solution simply demonstrates crappy design.
-
I solved the dv5t heat problem with... a glasses case. It is the perfect angle, fits like a charm, and keeps it way of the ground. I have also used my cell phone in the past, which actually lifts the WHOLE laptop, not jut the back, if placed in the proper position.
in between dv4t and dv5t
