HP - Pavilion Special Edition Laptop with Intel® Centrino® Processor Technology - Ceramic White
Model: dv6875se | SKU: 8776176
$899
I cut and pasted the model info directly from bestbuy.com
The above notebook I am interested in but I wanted to read reviews about it. I know that many stores change models numbers when it is their exclusive so can someone help me. Is this notebook the same as the dv6700 special edition that is on Hp's site? Is this a good deal for this model or should I keep looking? It has more than what I configured on HP's website (and more than I need)but the price is less(at least today) Also has anyone seen this finish it says it is ceramic white.
Thanks

Yes, it is a variant of the dv6700t special edition.
Depending on your uses, the laptop should be a good option for the price. The processor is a bit on the low end but the rest of the components are pretty decent. Try configuring the same config on HP.com and see what it comes out to. if you dont mind the regular silver/black finish then consider the dv6700t which shoudl be a bit cheaper. -
if this is the one I think it is, its only white in certain areas, like around the screen and touch pad. Still looks nice though. Usually unless its right when they first release them, like they did with the dv2800 series, the only thing your going to get with the SE is a different paint job.
