    Do you guys think i should install SP2 on my R3210CA? is not that powerful already, dont really want SP2 to make it even slower... but than i like to have window has update as possible, any comment?

    Compaq Presario R3210CA with AMD Athlon-M XP2800+, 256MB DDR SODIMM 333Mhz, 40GB Fujisu, 15inch XGA TFT, NVidia GeForce 4 with 32MB

    Do the update. It will enable the Enhanced Virus Protection feature of your AMD CPU, plus seal up a whole slew of Windows security holes. Note that if your machine is already infected with worms/spyware/etc the upgrade might not go well, but that's all the more reason to do the upgrade sooner rather than giving more time for the bad guys to mess up your computer.
