I took my laptop to Staples for a 'tune-up' and when I received it back the audio output device was deleted! They want $70 to tell me what is wrong! HP wants $15 monthly for help! So I have gone six months with no sound!
I have an 6910us HP Pavilion Entertainment with Vista 2-pk. How do I install the device? Where do I locate it?
I am very appreciative of any productive help...

Go to HP's site and download the appropriate audio drivers.
Make sure to the pick the correct version of Vista you have, 32bit or 64bit. -
SInC, thank you for your reply!
I have been to that site dozens of times. I have downloaded the file I need then get-Driver Installation Failed:Could not find the DEVICE for this driver.
I get lost & confused on the MS site looking for an answer... -
