    Hi there,

I am trying to repair my xp installation on my hp6575us, I have the SATA drivers on a usb floppy disk , but dont know which adapter i am supposed to choose (ICH7? ICH8? ACPI RAID). I tried a couple of them but when i get to to install screen I press enter and the following message comes up.

Setup did not find any hard disk installed in your computer. Make sure any hard disk drives are powered on and properly connected. And any disk related configuration is correct.ect. Press F3 to quit.

Which adapter should I choose? but I fear none will work!

    Any help greatly appreciated
