    i just bought a HDX9270ee

it came with vista home premium and all the HP bloatware.
i was wondering if i could install vista on it using my other vista CD that i bough for my desktop comuter. but when it asks for the CD-key i enter the one that the new HDX9270ee came with thats printed on the sticker on its base...will it acceot the Cd-key and activate vista or is this not possible?

I believe that if its the same version of Vista then it should work, however don't take my word for it.

think you can enter the product key from the bottom of the notebook (make sure the OS is the same as on the sticker (if you installed premium and on the sticker it say premium your good) then click on show me other ways to activate, and then activate by phone.

I second Lithus!! You even have the location to download and to create your own Vista discs... 64 or 32 bit versions! easy as pie!!
