Depends on the system I guess. I was running COD4 last night and my GPU never got higher than 58c on my d9700t.

Well, what happens when you have 12 people in a closet versus 12 people in a big house?

The closet (DV2700T) is warm due to all of the people (components) standing close to one another and generating heat.
The house (DV9700T) stays cool because everyone (components) is spread out and the AC is on.

It is a little abnormal, but then again the DV2700T wasn't designed for gaming and very intensive applications. How do you use the notebook? On your lap?

I own AOE3 and happen to enjoy it very much. My friend played AOE3 on his DV2700T and it got slightly warm, but not to the point he could fry an egg on it.

P.S. If you play online, hit me up some time so we can catch a supremacy.

can of compressed air: blow out dust.

Always make sure there's air for it to breathe.

87 is dangerously hot. at 85 my desktop 9800GTX freezes.

You could just go down to the mortuary when you need to use the laptop. :)
