    an expresscard 54 slot on an 8510p ? i bought an avermedia tv card and it don't work . stupid me did not realize the difference , i figured it would fir the slot .

    You can get an adapter to change your Expresscard slot to a PCMCIA slot but not the other way around since Expresscards have higher bandwidth than PCMCIA.

    thanks , that should work , a few hd tv tuners are usb 2 , how much more bandwidth will this expresscard need ?
