is there anyone just sticking with hp stock driver?!

when i first got the laptop i tried really hard to
find the best driver for my 6770m but i failed.
first i couldnt download official amd driver,
then i tried the DNA driver, it worked but
strangely dna driver-ed 6770m scored lower in 3dmark vantage than 6770m with hp stock driver..(when i had the dna driver, the card was detected as "6000 series card" not "6770m" so i assume theres a big chance i didnt install it propery..)

so yea im back with the latest hp driver and i dont find anything lack of performace. maybe thats bc i dont play games like crysis, battlefield or skyrim. but yea im pretty content i guess.

so i was wondering if anyone is just using hp stock driver like i am

and is 6770m supposed to score higher than 6000 points in GPU test in 3dmark vantage? mine gets close to 5950, it reached higher than 6000 only once.

I've been using the stock HP drivers for months and have not run into any problems. Very stable in my opinion.

 

I'm now using the latest HP drivers, and I play skyrim. Performance is the same when compared to the performance drivers but the HP drivers are more stable.

 

The average score for 3dmark Vantage with this gpu is about 6081. However this GPU has an unusually large range of scores (from 5.5k to mid 6ks) so that could possibly be the variance in the drivers but Im not too sure.

Id say your scores are fairly average, it may be just a tad lower because of the other types of laptops used in these benchmarks.

 

I use the DNA drivers and they haven't failed me yet.
I am going to go and run a benchmark and post the score.
