    I however got blu-ray in mine. My current Toshiba has HD-DVD, but I doubt the format will last too long....

    yea i was considering getting blu-ray, but the cost is high and i just recently worked at a video store and the blu-rays seemed to move to slow sales wise and were higher in cost so i opted not to get one as i dont think they will become a mainstain for at least 2 years.

    Well I have a PS3 and have tons of blu-rays (about 30 as compared to 5 HD-DVDs) so it was a no-brainer. It did cost more, but might as well.
