hello to everyone, i jus signed up to the forum!

and my question is..i just orderd the dv7t qe on the official hp website
    without any warranty..

and im surfing around the reviews and threds people post,
and im reading stuff like there might be some hardware problems, issues
like..it turns off, screen blacks out, etc.

do you think purchasing a laptop without any warranty is really risky?

It comes by default 1 year warranty and you can still buy extended warranty packs if you desire after you get the laptop as long as you purchase the extension packs before the expiry of the original warranty. If you purchased a refurbished model then those should have a 90 day warranty period.

Also, remember that only people who have problems post on forums. People who are happy with their dv7t's usually dont.

Also if you bought from HPshopping.com you have 21 days to return the system.

The dv6's have a 1 year warranty and the dv7's come with a two year.

The dv7tqe CTO versions (at least) USE to come with 2 years by default... did they reduce it???
(sorry dirtyfingers, I should have read better)
