Outside of doing a clean install of windows I don't really know what to do. Hopefully more people will see this and someone will know. Does your mouse work? If it does, try checking the Device Manager to see if you have the keyboard drivers properly installed. To get to the Device Manager:
    1. Go to Control Panel
    2. Open System
    3. Click on Hardware Tab
    4. Click on Device Manager
    5. Check Keyboards and see if anything has a red X
