does anyone hear a different kind of click on the left side of their keyboards then on the right side? it sounds lighter and less firm sounding.

No but i find the right-side sinks in more if your press hard. Theres little gaps beneath the keyboard thats why. Not really that noticable
What keyboard clicks are you talking about? As in key stroke noise when you type stuff? -
it sounds and feels alot more springy and lighter on the left side.

No.. i dont seem to notice it.
Check the service manual and re-seat the keyboard. It might not be installed properly. Its not that hard to do. -

Are you talking about clickings from the actual keyboard? or below it around the touchpad? Do you have two hard drives?
The reason I ask is because I have a DV9730 and I have two factory installed hard drives, both Seagates. I hear light clack noises from both sides of the touchpad where the drives are located. I assume its the internal hard drive arms parking/unparking. Its sort of like a very quiet clack now and again. -
