What is warm and what are you doing? It is okay to feel some slight heat on the bottom of a laptop but if you are burning yourself then I would worry

Yes, it's normal for the battery to get warm during the charge cycle. ALL batteries heat up when they are being charged. It's more noticable on a laptop because you have a lot of hardware packed in a small (relatively speaking) space and not a lot of surface area to rapidly dissapate the heat.

cell batteries like that deff. get hot when charging, the electrical current from your adapter is charging the chemicals in the cells of your battery
