Check the deals section on the front page. I think there is supposed to a HP ze2000z on sale at Wal-Mark for $400 on Black Friday. Black Friday is usually a good time to pick up a cheap laptop.

You will always get a better deal if you wait one more day. Thus you'll never buy the laptop. I'd say go to Costo or ecost, compare with HP shopping and you'll find what that suits you best. There was a nice refurbished zv6000 at Costo last week, I think. Just a suggestion.

There are 2 catches for that extra-cheap deal at WalMart--

    1. WalMart is evil and must be destroyed, so shopping there promotes evil

    2. they will probably have about 10 of those per store, and you will have to be up at 3am with your nose pressed against the glass, pushed and shoved by several hundred trailer-dwelling, stretchpants wearing, tooth-missing inbreds, racing through the store as the doors open, hoping you get there in time to snag one of those machines. and you probalby won't.
