    Hello

I have a compaq presario C700 laptop, i got this in december.

I plugged in my USB mouse, and now my touchpad mouse has stopped working, is this a software problem?

It has not stopped working in total, it is acting as a middle button, both left and right...

    HELP.... PLEASE

Check mouse settings in the Control Panel. The USB mouse probably just disabled the touchpad, and you need to re-enable it.

I still think some setting on the touchpad is thrown off. Have you gone over all the settings?
