    laptop not starting up power light blink

    i having hp dv5237cl when try to start this up its power light blink and nothing comes on screen .i have no clue what happen can anyone tell what is possible wrong with my laptop thanks

    reseat the RAM, or take it out and insert the stick/s again. if that doesnt work take one out and see if that helps, if not then take the other out and put the first one back in.

    is the laptop plugged in and receiving power? battery ok?

    did something happen before? like a system crash? u dropped it or banged it while moving it around? system got really hot? tried to upgrade BIOS?

    Try the following remove the battery and then press the power on button, it help release and electricity left then place the batter back . and Power it on. If the lights just blink then.........press and hold the battery button for force a shut down then power it back on. I have this happen when the battery was low and it went into a stanby mode and couldn't come out of it due to low battery and this helped.

    Remove both the AC adapter and the battery when you are doing to that stuff as previously posted.

    the battery and power are perfectly fine .
    i try to boot from the bootable cd still nothing is having ..
    Can you please tell me how to upgrade BIOS

    u cant if ur laptop doesnt start. like i asked before did something happen recently that might affect it? did u try reseating the RAM? if nothing works then its busted, take it back for repairs.
