    I recently upgrade my laptop to a quad

    I used good thermal from antec and have cooling fan. When playing games it reaches 71-73c . caps /

    how do I underclock?

    Reduce the clock multiplier and/or reduce the bus frequency.

    if you run the laptop on coolest mode it will throttle the cpu at 2.0ghz if you have the intel laptop

    it does the same thing with the amd laptop but i dont know what it throttles it to

    Enough of my games, I would not be ambiguous if there were some very specific information about the hardware in question that is to be underclocked... In other words what is specific the model number of the laptop to be underclocked?
