    lead paint in notebooks

    Does anybody no if there is lead paint in notebooks coming from china. It seems like everything else coming out of china has lead paint in it.

    Lead paint in notebooks are different from toys. Lead paint in toys are different because youngsters tend to put things in their mouths and will accidentally ingest lead. Never heard of lead paint in notebooks so far.

    People lived with lead paint for years; even water pipes used to be lead! I swear if it wasn't for lawyers this wouldn't even be a topic! I'm not saying that lead paint can't be dangerous but there's so many more chemicals in the average household that are a heck of a lot more poisonous....

    Waiting for somebody to ask if there is any asbestos used during construction! ;-)

    There's so many germs on your keyboard and mouse that I'd worry about those more than lead. If you don't worry about that, I wouldn't worry about anything else (unless you set your laptop on fire of course, then bad fumes will start coming out, obviously).
