So, I had a party at my house and a "friend" urinated on my laptop. I did not know this until the next day so the power stayed on it all night. I dumped it out, let it dry but it wouldn't even turn on. This happened 4 years ago and I think the computer was purchased in 2005. Do you guys think I should get it fixed or is it completely dead and corroded by now?

At almost 9 years old, consider it beyond repair. At least it won't smell anymore, so it's easier to work with.
You can take the hard drive out and connect it to another computer to recover your data. Rest of the computer could be recycled.
