has anyone thouhgt about using the macbook sleeves for the dv2000? Also what are you using for your dv2000?

I'm using a sleeve designed for the 15" Powerbook and it fits the dv2000t like a glove. I looked forever for a properly fitting sleeve before finding this sleeve at my university's bookstore. Sleeves for the Powerbook line aren't real easy to find anymore either, but at least they exist. BTW, this sleeve is by Tucano, and is called a Second Skin Folder. It came with an accessory pouch as well which is useful when I carry my notebook and accessories in my backpack instead of my notebook case.

wonder if any of the apple stores still have old powerbook cases lying around.

I wouldn't use the Macbook case for the DV2000t. It MIGHT fit, but judging by my memory, I doubt it's going to be pretty. Only one way to find out... and that's to try it I suppose.

Way off topic here ….
I'm Confused?
Is that a Jedi fight in your avatar? If so, where in the movies did it take place? -
The neoprene Case Logic sleeve that HP sells on their website is actually a very good fit. My girlfriend had the same one laying around that came bundled when she got her IBM T42 for school, so when she got a notebook backpack to replace it, I snatched it up for my new computer. It can hold my DV2000T with the 12-cell installed, and has pockets for the AC adapter and cord.
