    madden 07 on dv6000z

    i installed Madden 07 on my notebook and i'm disappointed with the graphics.. the crowd looks chickenwired and players are transparent... is this how it supposed to look? my NBA Live 07 works fine

    do i have to fix the CPU to 1.8 Ghz?

    any suggestions? thanks!

    I'm not familiar with Madden 07 but it may be that you have to change some settings on the game itself. It could be set to low settings or something like that. What GPU do you have on your 6000z?

    How much system memory do you have assigned to the GPU in the BIOS? The GPU has 64MB of dedicated memory and you can assign up to 192MB of additional system memory to it. If no system memory is assigned then you might be running out of texture memory and that would explain your symptoms. Assigning 64MB should fix it, any more than that will do more harm than good in a 1GB RAM system.

    The notebook will manage CPU speed on its own, no need to worry about that.

    My brother run Madden 07 on his dv6000z and it run fine. You might have to update your drivers or configure you graphic settings

    i dont have my notebook with me right now but i'll check it out when i got home... ill check my bios

    my drivers are all updated via HP site and my graphic settings are on 32-bit

    i google 'madden on nvidia 7200' and there are similar issues like mine.

    Yeah, it should not be doing that on any setting of the game. My guess is that it is some issue with the 7200.
