I have a HP 510 lap top with a problem
The problem is that when I plug in the mains charger to charge the battery i have to play around trying to get the charge light to come on, this is getting more and more difficult to do so it is a problem with the plug in point on the lap top.
Is there any way to solve this eg is there a peice of equipment where I can buy pass the plug unit in the laptop and somehow re charge the battery eg a unit I can place the batterey in to re charge outside the lap top or any other ideas as the lap top is great apart from this problem.
The mains charger has no problem it is the lap top that is the problem
    Please help asap

Take it to a repair shop, they will re-solder the AC jack.

Or if you have the skills, do it yourself.
