Im looking at getting the P7350 with 2 gigs ram and 9600gt or the p8400 with 2 gigs and 9600gt. The price difference is 40$..is it worth it?? Or should I just save the 40$ and upgrade to 4gigs with the 7350?? Both use 64 bit vista.

It really depends on what you would use it for. I would rather grab the extra ram instead of the few extra MHz of processor speed.

I mainly just multi-task ( surf the web, listen to music and play games). I will start using microsoft visio and visual studio though (but I dont think these require that much)

take the RAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm guessing that you have no interest in upgrading the RAM later by yourself, am i correct???? the RAM will be more useful in the long ruin than the processor. DONT FORGET to get the 64 bit version of VISTA!!!!!!!

I dont have a problem with upgrading the RAM. I guess that means I should just get the bigger processor then.

if you're willing to do the RAM upgrade on your own then go ahead and get the better processor.
