Currently using an nc6400, vista business.

I currently bought a 1gig sandisk micro sd w/ sd adapter. Anyways, when i plug in the microsd card with the adapter, Vista comes up and states that the card has not been formated. Problem is, the formatting always fails.

I checked the device manager and it correctly shows up as SD1 device.

I then checked disk management and the microsd card is recognized as unpartitioned space, but that the size is show as 64 gigs! I try to create a partition there, but it vista states there is an error and that it cannot format it.

I did find a microsoft knowledgebase concerning sd cards and installed it:

    http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=936825

still, the microsd card is still not being recognized in vista. any thoughts?
