hi and hello everybody, this is my first post in your Forum.

I have installed all drivers for my 8510w at the HP download Site. But one Driver is missing. Here are 2 Screenshots one from my XP and one with the missing Driver on my XP-x64 System.

Do you have any Idea what is the right Driver ...

    Thank you for your help!

yes, Audio is working, but there is no "Onscreen Display" for the Volume-Control....

the only thing i'm missing are the info and Präsentation Buttons(maybe it works with installed Office).

well, i installed xp 64 on my 8510p too, and some of the drivers i got from hp, and other ( newer versions ) i got myself on other sites. but the only thing there is no driver for in xp 64 is the hp drive guard system. and some people at hp said , there probably will not be such a driver.

so i think it´s the 3d drive guard.

edit : forgot to ask, have you installed the quicklaunch button software ?, that could also be the missing driver !

well i guess there you have your problem.....

you should uninstall the quicklaunch buttons and software. if that does not work, maybe you can roll back to a previous state.

if you have the quicklaunch buttons working and there still is a driver missing, you can be sure its the drive guard system. and for that is no " cure " available.

    no problemo, mate

welcome to the forum and the world of 64 bit computing. xp 64 is a good choice, since it is a rocksolid OS for production. I have only made good experiences with it yet.

where did you get drivers for the quicklaunch or the card reader on 8510w? i have 8710w but I think the drivers should be the same for both machines. on hp.com there are no drivers for the quicklaunch or the card reader under xp64
