    hi guyz,
    i ordered a hdx 16 on 3 rd may and the estimate date was 11th..but i didnt recive it till 21st.so i called hp.they said that the laptop was shipped from the factory on 8th and rovided me with a feex tracking no. it showed that the package was inactive since 11th may at anchorage..wen i called hp again.they said that the fedex has misplaced my packageand hp would be sending me a new one..;hp sux...i hav waitedfor 20days and now another 15 days..i hope atleast now i get the laptop..it was my fault going for an hp,instead of vaio fw...

    Blame Fedex for that one, the laptop was probably stolen. Not much HP can do about that...

    Hopefully you'll like the 16 when it arrives. Try to keep an open mind and you'll probably find you like the machine.

    Have to agree with Greg on that one. HP usually pads their ship date estimates - I've rarely seen anyone get their system late or even on the estimated date as they always come a few days early so it seems like the user is getting better service.

    Could be worse - it could've been that Fedex attempted delivery several times but you weren't there and then they shipped it back. Consider yourself lucky that they're replacing it - as Greg said, it's FEDEX's problem, not HP. If they were really bad, they'd tell you to take it up with FEDEX since they're the ones that signed for it, or worse, tell you that you'd have to wait until their insurance claim was paid off before you got a replacement.

    HP has bad service in some areas, but shipping isn't usually one of them. I and others nail and criticize them when and where it's due, but this isn't one of those times.
