my notebook shipped 3 day earlier :)

it shipped today woohoo from fedex and i live in az anyone else live near here and know when it usually takes? I read most people on the west side usually get it in 2-3 days?

 

Ohh I'm jealous, I ordered my dv6000 on Tuesday and I'm already dying for it to ship.

 

i ordered my dv6000z last sunday and i received my warranty yesterday! ... im still waiting for my notebook and est. build date is 14th...

 

I'm already enjoying using mine.

You should receive it next week Monday/Tuesday or at the very least by Wednesday.

 

you mean if the shipping date is 14th, i should receive it by 16th (earliest)?!? WOW!

* why is it time moves fast if you dont mind it, and it becomes very slow when you're waiting for something?!?

Anyways, if your hasnt shipped yet, then most likely expect it to ship on the 14th(unless there is some other delay) and shipping usually takes 3-4 days. So, yours should probably arrive arrive by Thirs/Friday depending on your location. Usually the laptop will leave Kunshan head to Shanghai and afer (what seems like a) long pause arrives in Anchorage where they go through customs and from there will head to either Indianapolis or Memphis. From where it will be sorted out to whatever destination. There are cases where it might travel the other way around(over Europe) from China.

Fedex is pretty good when keeping schedules, my dv2000t(returned) shipped on a Friday and was at my door on Monday afternoon. They shipped all though the weeekend!!!

 

mine was estimated to ship the 14th but i got the email today with tracking # but its shipping fedex i thought they used ups? and i still dont have an est. delivery yet hasnt updated on their fedex site yet

 

LUCKY! I ordered my dv2000t July 31 and it was estimated to ship on the 9th yet it still says "in production". I called hp and all they could say was be patient. The only problem is I need the notebook by the 17th for when I leave to school .

 

You'll have to wait for an estimated delivery date... Mine didn't appear until approx. 2 days after my ship date

 

My esitmated date and delivery were off by 3 days! Thank god it was off on the good side. I received it 3 days before it said I would get it. THe funny thing is that it was suppose to arrive on a monday so I was having my hard wood floors redone and had to be out of the house for 2 days (friday and Saturday) so I was not concerned figuring it would not be until Monday but when I got home late Saturday night it was sitting in the living room. The floor guy stopped by on Sunday to check the floor and he said I missed the FedEx driver by 5 minutes!!! I left at 10:45 am on Friday and FedEx pulled up at 10:50! LOL

I'm in the same boat as you, supposed to ship the 9th, and instead it is scheduled to ship today (14th). I called HP on friday, and told them that I needed my laptop by the 18th because that is the last day of my internship and I'm having it shipped to where I work. I told them that they should give me free express (2 day) shipping, and they gave it to me. I also got a $50 coupon by e-mail, good for $50 off any one item from their HP store. I ended up getting a $45 power surge protector for free (no tax / no shipping).

 

^mmm let me know if you get that tracking number today. I diddn't get mine. I called them today and they said it will ship in a few more days. Which doesn't work for me.
