    this is the way i'm cooling my notebook now:

    it's in spanish (cos i did it for a Chilean forum) , but it's pretty clear .
    you'll need:
    3 cd boxes
    1 8cm fan
    a piece of cardboard
    tape.

    I did this to cool down my hdd.
    before: 50°

    after: 38°

    Well done Loix but isn't the configuration very unstable? If you could make a solid structure it would be better.
