    Hello,

I was just wondering, as Ive checked HP site and it says that drivers for my graphic card are in version 8.8.7.6 or something like that and latest (with WHQL) ForceWare drivers from nVidia are something like 93.71??

Can I use FW drivers?? or should I use those from HP website??

    Ive got Pavilion DV2104EU notebook.

You should be able to use the norm drivers from nvidia website but whether or not the notebook will accept it is a different question as HP is known to customize versions of their own drivers but you can give it a shot. Check this thread for similar info on this topic of drivers:

(contains a work around if u get stuck with the stock hp drivers)

Yes, you can use the Nvidia drivers but yoo'll have to replace the stock Nvidia inf with the inf file from the stock HP drivers(or from LV2go) to enable the stock NV drivers to recognise the mobile GPU's. Nvidia only supports the Go 7 series(only some high end models), the rest of the mobile GPU support lies with the OEM - so the stock Nvidia drivers wont install without replacing the inf file.

So should I actually use nVidia drivers? Are they much better? Or any better??
Or should I stick with the ones that HP has got on its website??

Well, if you aren't doing any major gaming and aren't experiencing any problems, sticking with the HP provided drivers os probably best. If you use your system for gaming though, I would much rather be using the latest drivers, especially as the 88.76 drivers aren't anywhere near the latest available. I always use the latest drivers on my notebook, downloaded from http://www.laptopvideo2go.com. Basically, you download the latest Nvidia drivers, then an updated .inf file that recognizes notebook graphics chips. You replace the original inf with the updated one, then install as normal. It's really not that difficult.

I know it isn't :) Its just I have always been using Ati chips till now and wasn't really much interested with nVidia drivers :)
Is there any modified drivers for nVidia like Ati's Omega Drivers?? The same person did them but the latest one is based on FW 66.something so its very old one.
