I have a hp nc6000 with a 1.6 ghz pemtium M processor, 40 gig hardrive, and 1.5 gigs of ram. Im looking at getting a new laptop for college but $2000 is a lot to spend for me. What are my options for upgrading? I think all i would need it to upgrade the hardrive and processor

Could i upgrade the processor? If so to what and how much?

Is all this worth it? or should i bite the bullet and fork over 2000

Well, as we say in NBR a lot it all depends on one thing; (What will you be using your notebook for)?
