    I'm considering it, but want to be able to do some movie watching and minimal gaming wihtout noticeable blurring.

    If you want decent display quality, you'd better stay away from the WXGA+ option on this notebook. There were several reports, which I can sadly confirm, that it's rather poor. You may want to check this thread for more information.

    The WXGA (1280x800) sceren is great.

    If you reply to this thread around 4pm EDT, I'll be at home and I can plug in this laptop to a display with 8ms and compare it.

    However, right now it doesn't look any different than my 8ms screens do at home.

    I've heard about a LOT of 14.1" WXGA+ screens being horrid. And I'm talking about more than just the ones used by HPs. Google the D620 WXGA+ problems, and that's probably the tip of the iceberg.
