I am experiencing poor battery life with my nc6400 (GMA950 version) and I'm trying to find a solution. (around 1h30m max, ususally less).

I remember being able to use my laptop for 4+ hours when I first got it, even while playing music through the speakers and with the screen at medium brightness.

The nc6400's battery is labelled 55Wh.

However, RMClock shows my battery's "designed" and "fully charged" capacities to be 28.512 Wh. Warning alert is at 1426 and Low battery alert is at 292.

Can another nc6400 owner download RM Clock and share their values for designed, fully charged, warning alert, and low battery alert?

Also, what is your average discharge rate and in what conditions?

Mine is 16±1w with Bluetooth and wifi both turned on.

    thanks.

I got a replacement battery today (shipped UPS Next Day Air) and this one might be made by a different company -- it's got a different font on the label and a different model number.. It's also labelled 51Wh instead of 55Wh.

Perhaps there is a known issue with the old cells? Anyway, it's charging up now.
