I purchased nc6400 and I'm close to returning it due to one major problem.

The screen is driving my crazy!

I have tried everything to change the brightness but to no avail. It is literaly so light and washed out looking that it is very hard to read.

In the airport I almost couldnt make the screen out at all. This is making my migranes worse so I need to do something.

I plan on taking it in to our HP rep tomorrow to see what they say. Hoping for some advise here before I do so though.

    Thanks!

    Hi Suzy,
Havew you tried adjusting the Gamma, brightness and contrast from the advanced tab in the display properties Right click on the screen where there is no icon, then click properties, then click adavanced, then look for a tab marked color or something similar. If that doesn't do it then there may be an issue with the screen or gpu.

    Hope this helps
