what could be the reason for a sudden memory conflict on a nc8000 laptop ? I have 2x512MB memory in this nc8000 laptop before, it was working nicely. But today when I turned it on it suddenly stopped working (the laptop boots, then shutdown , then reboot, then shutdown, and then sequence repeats) . The laptop starts working again when I take any 1 of the memory out. The two memory aren't of the same kind (one from kingston, one that came with HP, but they do have the same CL value, both 2.5, plus, they worked fine before)

    any ideas?
