    The new nc/nw8230 looks like the perfect spec! I'm guessing the 8230 will replace the 8000, right?

    So anyone got any idea of when it's likely to be available in the UK?

    Also, I've been trying to guess what the price will be in the UK, but by my rough calculations it don't look so good. In the UK HP sell the nw8000 for £2390+tax (yup that’s about $4,596), but in the US the same spec goes for $3,299. So by my reckoning it will be cheaper to fly to the US and pick one up in person [:0]. Someone please tell me I'm very wrong...

    Don't know the UK price, but I'm dissappointed the Canadian model can not be configured with the 128MB ATI X600 card. Only 64MB.

    That might just be temporary. Doesn't look like the option is yet available on the US site either. Nor is the 7200rpm HD. Seems like HP have blown their March release date.

    If anyone out there has managed to get their hands on one of these little babies can you let us know? Also, I'd love to know what they're like for heat / noise etc...
