I'm currently running BIOS KBC version 40.16 (at least that's what dxdiag told me) - should I update this? Are there any updates so far to it? My computer is about four months old. I'm not very familiar with BIOS upgrading.

I'm using HP's F.0F BIOS (or 40.17 as dxdiag says)...I think the most pertinent change is that Virtualization Technology is now enabled in the processor. I'm not too sure what other fixes are in it...but if it isn't broke why fix it?

I suppose that's true - I was just wondering if BIOS updates were sorta like updating graphics card drivers - as in, you should update each time they are released. But if that's not the case then I'll just stick with what I've got.
