I cannot get my laptop to connect to my Linksys router. I have two other laptops connected but my nc8430 will only work when the encyption is off and SSID broadcast is enabled. I tried to do it manually at first via Windows and then installed the HP tool which got it to work the way I just described. Anybody have any suggestions? Its bit late for me to call Tech support.

I would upgrade the firmware on your router as a place to start. The card drivers as well if you have note already.

I configured it via the Windows software and it ultimately worked (took a bit of fidling though). SSID isn't broadcasting, WEP is being used.

    Also works under Linux.

    Router is a Linksys WRT54G, firmware v1.00.6
