CompuSmart only has the French models and that other place does not have any walk-in locations. Any other places?

I haven't been able to find the nc8430 "in stock" in any GTA stores.

I am about to order the EY688AA#ABA which is the nc8430 with the T2500 w/ 80 GB 5400 rpm, etc.

My two main options are cendirect and CDW. Both are official resellers of HP, cendirect has it for $1923.00 while CDW has it for $1999.00.

If you live outside of Quebec however (where cendirect is based) - you only pay GST. Cendirect also has it "in stock", while CDW has it shipping from "3-6 days".

I'm leaning towards CDW even though their base price is $60 CAD more expensive, they will charge me PST (they are in Etobicoke) and it will take longer to get here. Why you ask ? Because cendirect doesn't offer returns once you open the item, while CDW does. Even then, cendirect charges a 15% restocking fee on the unopened returned item.

I'm willing to pay $200 more, just to have that peace of mind and the option of returning it.

Here are the links to the item at the two stores:
