Hi all, I just pulled out my old HP ZX5190, its hard drive took a crap a few years back and I haven't touched it since. I'm looking to get a new hard drive and I found some nice ones on Newegg, but I'm not sure which ones are compatible.

SATA is a lot newer so that won't work right? Sorry for the noob thread, ANY help is appreciated. Thanks :)

Definitely using an IDE HDD. So SATA HDD cannot be used to replace your old HDD.

just go to newegg.com and pick out IDE hard drives and I'd say get a 40 or 60 gig 5400 rpm IDE hard drive.
