    Just received my 8510w today. Absolutely love it. A very high quality machine. Doing a clean install right now. Just want to know if there's any hp software that i should/have to keep? Thanks! ie I assume the hp quicklaunch is something i should keep?

    Hi gashbell,

    I just got my 8510p yesterday :) If it weren't for all the neighbor kids wanting Halloween candy... Anyway I'm in the same boat as you.

    It looks like mine came with a MS Office, but I didn't see an activation key. Did that happen with yours too?

    nope mine didn't come with ms office. however they gave me both the vista and win xp cds. 0.o lucky me! unless it's standard all across the board. Just found a driver installer cd too. Guess I'll use that for the moment.

    You got the XP cds with it?
    grrrrr
    They droped the price 300 bucks in canada and include XP now. I should have waited a month and saved 400 bucks.
    I dont think I reinstalled much of the HP software. Just enougth to get the finger print reader working.
