    hey guys my 8510w came yesterday and so far i love it as it is my first laptop

    but anyways i was wondering if anyone knew what were some of the bloatware programs that i could get rid of that come preloaded on the system

    I deleted Norton Antivirus and some useless drivers such as WWAN etc.; other utilities can be sometimes useful in case I need to do some basic task and do it quick.

    Personally, I think anything with the words 'Google' is bloatware as well. But that is me.

    Umm, unless you need something in the ProtectTools Security Suite I would get rid of that. Also, just get rid of HP Wireless Assistant as it is more resource intensive and less efficient than Vista's standard WiFi manager.
