    Hey guys,
    I don't know much about laptops but I needed a 15" laptop so I ordered the dv5t.

I got the 2.26Ghz Intel CPU (P8400), 3 Gigs of ram, 250 gig hard drive, 512mb nvidia 9600M GT, and the hi def infinity view screen (1680x1050).

I paid 970 total including tax and free shipping (also got a 40 dollar shoulder bag). I'm wondering if I made a good choice? Did I pay a decent price? Did I choose the right specs?

    Could use some advice :)
    Thanks mates

That computer will be more than enough. You'd be able to conquer a lot of current games on a medium-high settings.

You have a sufficient amount of ram and the 2.26Ghz processor is enough power. That's a spacious 250GB hard drive. I enjoy the Infinity display...

Fairly good deal! Although I dislike shoulder bags. I always chose backpacks for even weight distribution. Then again, I travel a lot on bike.
