    Does any one know when the next series of elitebooks will be released?

    I don't know if for example ddr3 is worth the wait? Why is that on the current models anyway?

    DDR3 memory has no benefit over DDR2 in any real life situation since it will never be the limiting factor with current hardware. The benefit of waiting is that the new Arrandale CPUs will be in the new Elitebooks, hence they will be capable of switchable graphics, hyperthreading, turbo boost, and better power management.
