I hope this version works better on my dv6119us. I tried the previus version a few days ago, and the moment the program tried to start up after the installation, the notebook just restarted itself.
As you know, then by default, the program adds itself to start up. So, when the computer was almost ready booting into windows, it abruptly restarted itself again. So, clearly the old version had a conflict with my laptop, which hopefully is gone with this new version.
Anyone else here ever had a similar thing with that program?

gah! a new version and they still cant get it right! under XP my NHC runs fine for 10 seconds then just shuts down, no error, no reason just decides to stop. Unfortunately while I love this program, I think I have to finally give up on ever getting it to work decently, it's just too temperamental!

The only thing i like about NHC is that you can control the fans. Well, of course, if you have the acpi files to interface wth NHC.

other than that, i prefer rmclock, as it's more streamlined and very resource efficient.
