    Well I have the same problem on my hp8510w:

    ~~~
    Unknown ACPI\HPQ0004\3&B1BFB68&0
    I have installed OS XP64 Pro (so my laptop would correctly see 4 GB of RAM memory and not just 3 GB of RAM. And in the same time I hate to install Vista :)
    But unfortunately as of today there is no 64 bit version of "HP Mobile Data Protection System" application
    (HP Mobile Data Protection System:
    ...The HP Mobile Data Protection System protects the hard drive (by "parking the heads") if the notebook is accidentally dropped. ...
    HP support told me:
    ...
    According to your email, we understand that you are looking for 64 Bit version of HP Mobile Data Protection System.
    We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that the 64 Bit version of the same is not available.
    ....
    alas my hard drive will be unprotected in case it would be accidentally dropped...
    Try looking in various places, such as in the Vista 64 drivers for your laptop, or perhaps for the 8510w, even if that's not your laptop model. I've heard that the driver should work in XP64 just fine, though the systray app may not.
