    Hey everyone,

DO any of you experience weird noises like either spinning then slowing down of the harddrive or any other abnormal sounds coming from the secondary hard drive? I know its not the hard drives fault because I had put a 500gb 5400rpm harddrive in there a few weeks ago that worked perfectly in the my old laptop but kept speeding up and slowing down continuously. It drove me crazy so I removed it. Then I purchased a SSD so now I have put the hard drive that came with the laptop in the secondary drive. And it is not spinning as fast but making a few other noises.

Anyone any experience this or anyone know what to do to stop there annoying sounds?

    Thank you all

Clicking kind of sound? If so, then it's the hard drive parking its head. Use QuietHDD or HDDScan. If not then no idea.

Hey Inoob, thanks for the response. It is not a clicking sound but sound HDD sounds coming from the HDD. And I am very sure theres nothing wrogn with the HDD since the other HDD i tested was just spinning fast. Maybe its a problem with the Caddy I purchased. Doesn't matter.

I will look into it. Not really that loud currently.

    Thanks again
