Hello... I recently read the dv5z review here am I think i found the laptop I've been looking for.

Do you think i should order it now? (599.99++) on HP website or should i wait til they start offering laptops at bestbuy and other retail stores? Will the price drop a little in the next month or two? I just need to buy a laptop before September and im not in any hurry.

I have another question regarding the expansion 3 slot. To my understanding HP has a quickdock, which connects to the expansion 3 slot.

Will the quickdock work with the dv5z? Any drivers needed?

Also I've read on some websites that the quickdock (ES631AA#ABA) has been discontinued? Any issues with it?

Thanks a lot guys. Sorry for the noob questions.

It may go down by september by ~$50 or so, so i would just get it now, since $50 isnt much and youll get it 2 months earlier.

Sorry, not sure about the Quickdock question... but im assuming that if there is a Quickdock for Expansion Port 3 it will work on any NB with Expansion Port 3. And if previous docks have had drivers, it will probably stay the same.

Heres a tip; look at the notebooks specs or chat with an HP rep, im pretty sure they can tell you the I/O it features.

I was just checking HP's website. That laptop does sound really nice for the price. I would get the new RM 70 CPU for an extra $75.

Even if you wait for it to hit stores like Best Buy, I doubt you'll get all the options you want and you can likely not expect it to have the discrete HD3450 chip (and even if so, it'll likely be more expensive anyway).

I expect to have my dv5z in a few days and I can answer any questions you may have about it then. I got it pretty loaded up!
