    Hello everybody,

    I have an old hp pavilion dv61010ed laptop and is not recharging after the adapter have short circuiting.
    What can i do so it is recharging?
    Is there a recharger that not needs to be put in my laptop but a thing where i have to put only the battery in?
    what can i do?

    Hi,
    By the sound of it you might have fried the charging circuit on the motherboard. Does it turn on ok still?
